Mother's Day Gifts

What Mother doesn’t love breakfast in bed on her special day? So, I thought why not have my student create a cute breakfast-in-bed book for mom, one she could cherish forever?

Unfortunately, I got started way too late to have it ready in time for most of you for this year.  But the final product, which I am still tweaking here and there, turned out pretty darn cute. See for yourself!

Here are just a few of the sample pages.
If this looks like something you might want to use in the future or you plan on busting something out tomorrow, it is available now in my TPT store.

I included both cut and glue pattern pieces for each breakfast item, and ready to go images which I purchased from www. DigiWebStudio.com and Scrappin Doodles.com

The most important part of course is the journaling templates which students will complete and paste on the back of each part of their Mom's breakfast book -  recalling special memories and the things they love and appreciate most about their moms.

After all the books are completed, I simply punched holes and tied together with pretty ribbon and a tea bag.

I am also encouraging my students to deliver it on a plate or tray with a flower from their yard Mother’s Day morning. This is one gift Mom is sure to love!
