Counting Makes "CENTS" with Abraham Lincoln and George Washington

In honor of the upcoming President's Day holiday I created a Early American patriotic-themed coins-counting game.

Students will practice adding "Washington" Quarters and "Lincoln" Pennies as they make their way around the President's Day game board using coin cards and a die.

I also created "value cards" that match the coin cards so students could play a "concentration" type matching game as well. I also plan to use the value cards for a "SHOW ME the MONEY game - where students will use plastic coins to match the value I display.

I plan to print two sets of the cards. One set will pair coins with their value (back to back) to create an answer check/ flash card for more coin-counting activities.

My Counting Makes "CENTS" with Abraham Lincoln and George Washington is available now in my TPT store.

  13. Thank you for this wonderful resource. To those folks who couldn't download, try again. I tried repeatedly last night (24th) and I kept getting an error message. This morning it worked like a dream.
